FVSEF racers sweep events in Red Lodge

Flathead Valley Ski Education Foundation ski racers swept the podium in the U16 men’s slalom event at Red Lodge last weekend. From left to right, with third place is Tyler Anderson, first place is Colin Harper and second is Ian Calaway.

Flathead Valley Ski Education Foundation ski racers stepped up on the winners podium multiple times last weekend in both Red Lodge and Big Sky events.

The U16-U21 skiers competed in Red Lodge. The race series was a U16 qualifier for the Western Regional Championships in Alaska in March and Flathead Valley racers brought their best to top the podium all three days of racing.

Nineteen Flathead Valley racers in the U8-U14 divisions traveled to Big Sky for a statewide series that is also a qualifier for the Western Region U14 Championships in Jackson Hole, Wyoming in March.

Flathead Valley racers hope to continue their success in upcoming Super G races in Big Sky this weekend.
