Regenerative agriculture expert Nicole Masters is coming to Whitefish for one day to do a master class in soil biology for sustainably growing nutrient-dense food on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Center for Sustainability and Entrepreneurship. Through her company, Integrity Soils, Ltd., Nicole teaches and consults internationally on biological farming systems. A skilled educator, her workshops are practical, educational, interactive, and guaranteed to deepen participants understanding of regenerative farming practices. Proceeds from the class will benefit the local nonprofit, Free the Seeds.

The class will be a great resource for new and seasoned organic growers. Backyard, school garden, and market farms can all benefit. The class size is limited and will cover the following topics:

• Why and how soil biology matters for growing nutrient-dense food

• Using microbes to build nutrients and reduce weeds

• Building soil for the future
