Speaking for all of the dogs and their people who participated in the 2018 Flathead Classic Sled Dog Race, we would like to thank Brett Svetlik and his wonderful crew of volunteers (you know who you are!) who worked hours and hours to put these races together for us ó you did an incredible job!

We would also like to thank the many sponsors who helped make this race possible including Dog Creek Lodge, Rebecca Farms, Go West Shirt Company, Whitefish Animal Hospital, Winter Wonderland Sports, HA Brewery, Flathead Beacon, Glacier Restaurant Group, Adanac Sleds and Equipment, Five Star Rentals, Redpaw, Great Northern Powder Guides, Winter Woods Dog Sled Tours, MT Hammer, Glacier Bank, Sportsmanís, Bonsai Brewery Project, WBC, Porch Construction, Great Northern Cycle and Ski, Murdochs, NAPA, Gorilla Glue, Glacier Cyclery and Nordic, and many, more restaurants and businesses from Kalispell, Columbia Falls, Whitefish and Olney. We had a wonderful, dog-filled weekend!

None of this would have happened if it hadnít been for the many, many races organized by Jack and Pam Beckstrom over the years. Jack passed away recently and we would all like to acknowledge his love of this sport and his efforts to keep it going strong in the Flathead, all over Montana, and all over the world. He will be missed terribly by many. We hope you are now running a team of Huskies in Heaven. Peace.
